How do I connect my lamp to Alexa?

With the Luke Roberts skill and Alexa, you can interact with your Luke Roberts Smart Lamps by voice. To use this feature, you need the following:

• At least one installed and active Luke Roberts smart lamp
• The Luke Roberts app installed on at least one phone or tablet and synced with your lamps
• Amazon Alexa

To get started, follow the steps in this tutorial:

1. Start the Luke Roberts app on your iPhone or iPad and wait for your lamps to sync. Then go to the settings menu of you lamp by tapping on the lamp name or using the left wedge menu:
   
   
   
   
2. Scroll down to the section CLOUD BRIDGING and tap on Account Linking. This will enable you to connect the Luke Roberts App to the Luke Roberts Cloud. In case of iPhone or iPad, the system will ask you for confirmation, as data will be exchanged between the Luke Roberts App and the Luke Roberts Cloud service. For Android devices, this step is not required.
   
    
   
   
3. If you already have a Luke Roberts Cloud account, please enter the credentials to log-in. If you do this for the first time, tap on Register here to create a free Luke Roberts Cloud account:
   
    
   
   
4. After successful sign-up or log-in you need to confirm, that you allow the access between the Luke Roberts App and the Luke Roberts Cloud by taping on YES, authorize.
   
   
   
   
5. The app will then connect the App and the Cloud Account and after a few moments you will see that the account has been successfully linked:
   
   
   
   
6. Next, go to the Skills tab in the Alexa app and search for "Luke Roberts". Select the Luke Roberts skill and tap on ENABLE to start the linking between Alexa and the Luke Roberts Cloud:
   
   
   
   
7. Enter the credentials of your Luke Roberts Cloud account and tap Login:
   
   
   
   
8. After successful log-in you need to confirm, that you allow the access between Alexa and the Luke Roberts Cloud by taping on YES, authorize.
   
   
   
   
9. Alexa will then link the account (which may take a few moments) and confirm the account linking with the following screen:
   
   
   
   
10. By tapping on Done in the screen above, Alexa will suggest to discover your new smart home devices. Tap on DISCOVER DEVICES in order to let Alexa discover for your Luke Roberts smart lamps using the Luke Roberts Cloud.
    
     
    
    
11. Alexa will confirm after a few moments when at least one new device has been found.
